Are you looking for a dentist in Collingwood? You’ve found the right place! Dr. Sarah McVey earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction from Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Before that, she completed both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Since beginning her dental career in Collingwood, Dr. Sarah has cared for a varied patient population. This experience has deepened her skills in family dentistry, children’s oral health, managing diverse dental conditions and emergencies, and working with patients of different needs and abilities. Dr. Sarah is committed to ongoing learning—for herself and her team—to continually enhance patient care at Peaks Family Dentistry Collingwood.
Dr. Sarah is more than a dentist—she was a varsity hockey player during her time at Dalhousie, before returning to Ontario. Outside the clinic, she enjoys biking, snowboarding, cooking, and playing recreational hockey. Now settled in Collingwood, she is delighted to serve her community and is welcoming new families and patients of all ages!

Welcoming a new dentist in Collingwood – Dr. Jordan Elwood! Dr. Jordan earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, graduating with distinction. Prior to dental school, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in Winona, MN.
Through his volunteer work, Dr. Jordan has cared for a diverse patient population across a range of clinical settings. He has provided free dental care during outreach initiatives in Whitehouse, Jamaica, and in Moose Factory, Ontario, where he served members of the Moose Cree First Nation at Weeneebayko General Hospital. These experiences strengthened his foundation in family and general dentistry, including working with children and patients with varying needs.
Dr. Jordan played NCAA men’s varsity hockey during his academic career and continues to value an active lifestyle. Now proud to call the Blue Mountains home, he lives with his wife and their black Labrador retriever, Moose. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys skiing, biking, golfing, and spending time along the beaches of the Georgian Triangle. Dr. Elwood is a member of both the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association and is currently welcoming new patients of all ages at Peaks Family Dentistry Collingwood.
